Wow these are all beautiful birds!!
I am new to all of this and I gather that EE stands for Easter Egg because of the colored eggs they lay. What kind of chicken are they really? They are all so pretty I might have to get one one day.

Yes,because of the colored eggs. Hatcheries usually call them Ameraucanas or Aracuanas,but they are actually mixed breeds of Ameraucanas & other breeds. They are great layers,and the ones I have owned from Cackle & Estes in MO are so sweet,& great layers! Here is the Ameraucana website,if you want to see pics of purebreds:

This is Rayn she is 2

This is Henny Penny, she is my favorite other than Harley! She is a fat and sassy hen who loves to lay on her side and sun bath!!! Eating is her hobby lol She is I believe 3 yrs old.

This is Sunny she is the daughter of Summer. She is almost 1 year old.

This is Summer she is 2! She has lots of daughters at my house! And lays the bluest eggs!!

And this is Stormy! She lays huge green eggs!! I mean HUGE. She is the daughter of Rayn.

My boy Harley!!! He is 4. He is the papa of the coop, everyone respects Harley!

And this is the newest addition. She/he hatched out just a few hours ago!!!
