EE eggs, do they get bigger?

My little awesome EE's are laying machines! I love them--and they are laying light olive green eggs, blue(pale), and pink eggs! Lucky ME! The size of the eggs surprised me--they are small compared to my RIR's. Will they increase in size like the RIR's did or will they stay petit?

If they are still pullets, and have just started laying, then yes, they should increase slightly in size. Unfortunately, there's no way of telling exactly how big they will get without knowing more about their parentage.

My chickens all lay different size and shape eggs, even when they're the same breed. My EE eggs are a decent size...basically a large. They were much smaller in the beginning but got bigger within about a month or so. I have a Buff Orp that lays a huge jumbo egg, but my other Buff Orp lays a regular large egg which is lighter in color. So basically, you'll just have to wait and see what you get...

If they just started laying they're usually small and generally get bigger in a few months.
