I have a 2yo EE hen that I cannot for the life of me find the base breed for. She looked like a ee chick and has olive legs, but no "beard." Knothead lays light, light pink eggs. She is white with pinkish mottling on her chest and head and is larger than my other ee's, as large as my smaller brahmans, with a longer, staight-up tail. The top of her head also seems to be a bit greyish. Here's the kicker: her head feathers look like they've been "slicked back" like a greaser or a bad mullet.
Hopefully this is enough to help someone get me on the right track for a breed since I don't have a camera. I just got my first cell/smart phone last week and haven't finished setting it up. (I hate technology! My [grown] sons like to play Weird Al's Amish song --"we're just technologically impaired" and "tonight we're gonna party like it's 1699." *sigh*
(My chickens accept me for who I am so there :tongue

Brahmachicken5000--she looks nearly identical to your profile pic! just more white, less "pink" I also found an old thread that discussed neck feather curling as a result/mutation of the bearding genetics. It very well could be her "beard" is a comb-around. I also just noticed she has hairy gray earlobes! The bits of gray stick out much further than the feathers on my other birds. She reminds me of my Uncle Earl's ears--now that was a comb-over!
