EE hen broody since Memorial Day Weekend--what should I do?

I have a EE hen that goes broody often. She usually breaks out of it in about 20-23 days. This particular time it feels like forever. It's been since the Memorial Day weekend. Is that really long. Should I be concerned?

If you want to break her broodiness, put her in a cage so that she has airflow underneath the cage. There is something about them not being able to snuggle their bare bellies in the bedding/straw whatever that helps them to quit being broody. I have done this with some before but the ones I had were not realy repeat broodies. Hope this helps.

I will try anything at this point. I feel like she should have broke on her own already like before. I'm going to try the cold water dip too. I'm getting desperate!

Some are more stubborn than others... Usually a broody breaker cage works for me, with the hens snapping out of the broody trance 3-5 days later. I've got 2 dark Brahmas though that just stay broody regardless. Earlier this Spring they were each broody for about 5 weeks. They went broody again 6 weeks ago and are going strong. I've been desperate enough to even lock them out of the pen so they were forced to free range during the day(not something I usually do). Nothing nothing nothing is working. I don't need anymore baby chickens so I'm fixing to sell them to whomever wants them.

And no more dark Brahmas for me. They're beautiful birds but I can't handle the broodiness.

@MoreHens I understand completely. I actually broke her. I went out two nights in a row and put her on the roost with the rest of the hens and locked her out of the coop during the day too. The next morning she was back to normal. I'm still waiting for an egg. Time to add some Cyanne pepper to her food.
Good luck
