EE Hen or rooster ?

Just over 7 months old EE and doesn't crow. Also has never has shown any interest in the hens and does not have spurs.
This chicken hasn't laid any eggs. My EE usually start laying after 8 mo.

They can develop at different stages! I'm sure many people have had hens that haven't laid their first egg after 7 months, but it certainly isn't uncommon!

For my EE it's normal start laying eggs after 8 months old.

There might be a more dominant rooster in the group which could delay his crowing. He is definitely a beautiful boy.

no doubt a male.

Our one EE male was very quiet and never heard him crow although he was clearly a male, and others of same age (different breeds) were crowing already. We sold him before 7 months however, so no idea when he might have started to crow.
