EE hen with non EE roo?

My beautiful one and only EE hen has just started laying. She's given me two gorgeous blue eggs so far. I don't have an EE roo, and I'm wondering if I hatch out some of her eggs if her daughters would lay blue eggs too or will they get the brown gene from the roo (they are NHR, BA and Blue Cochin).

Not sure what a 'BA' is.
If you put her with a white egg layer her daughter would have a better chance of laying a blue egg, though it might be a lighter blue.

Chances are, they will lay green. So far as eggs go, blue + brown = green.

Krys, BA is Black Austrolorp. So far, the only one I've seen "do the deed" is the New Hampshire but that doesn't mean the others aren't, too.

Green eggs would be okay, that's what we expected from her. It's just that I already have enough brown egg layers and wouldn't necessarily want to hatch out more.
