EE, not Ameracauna, right?

Discussion in 'What Breed Or Gender is This?' started by bawkbawkbawk, Jun 16, 2009.

  1. Was just viewing another thread where it was mentioned that leg color is the way to determine an EE vs. an Ameracauna. This hatchery chick was billed as an Ameracauna but my understanding is that you can only get one from a breeder, so Autumn is really an EE mutt, right? (Not that we love her any less...) She'll still lay green or blue eggs?

Ya she is a EE. she will still probably lay a blue, green, pink, or possibly white egg. :) All hatchery birds that say they are a ameraucana, or arucana are all EE's. cute ee though!!!!!
