If I have an ameraucana of an unrecognized color, does that make her and EE? I have no idea how to get pictures on here or I'd post them for you guys to look at.
actually, there is an Easter Eggers' Club and they have a very specific definition of an EE in order to separate it from a "mutt." I don't know anything about it myself and I think they're all cool birds, mutt or not, but if you're curious, check it out at www.eastereggers.com.
There is no standard of perfection for EEs in the American Poultry Association. It is a cross bred bird, resulting in various plumage colors, tinted eggs, and hopefully muffs/beards if bred consistently. Regardless, they are pets and lots of fun to have.

An unrecognized color in an ameraucana does not mean it is an EE. Ameraucanas are a pure breed, EEs are mutts. An unrecognized variety would be considered and shown as AOV.
