EE or Americauna?

I was told when I bought her that she is a americauna but thinking she might be an EE. Her egg is the one on the left.

She looks just like most my EE girls. Nothing wrong there. I knew what I was getting even if the feed store insisted they were ameraucana. Nice loving girls that give me pretty eggs.

Hmm. She looks exactly like mine that I was told is an Americauna. It doesn't matter to me either way...she is very social and has started laying darling eggs!

Anything sold to you as Americauna (with an I) is an EE. Pure Ameraucana's (no I) only come from breeders (not feed stores or hatcheries). Absolutely nothing wrong with EE's. I have both an EE and pure Ameraucana's and love them both.
