Thanks for the great pictures, that really helps clear that up. And please feel free to post more pics of all 3 breeds. The pictures really tell the story!! Thanks thanks thanks. I knew I was going to love BYC.
These are juvenile EE's, showing off some of the many colors
These are growing out and are EE (orange leg band), OE(green leg band), Lav Ameracuana(purple leg band) and Wheaten Ameracuana(yellow leg band). Leg bands aren't easy to see on all in the photos.
And one of our currently laying EE girls a blue wheaten sorta coloring.
More accurately, my Easter Egger. I got her from a hatchery, and while she was marketed as an Ameraucana (which is something I'd really like to have some day), I knew that she probably would be an EE based on what I had read here. No worries, since she's a great bird and a pleasure to have so far, but she looked similar to yours when she was younger.
After reading all of these posts and doing searches on the net, I definitely have EE's. I love them, they are all so different looking and very friendly. I love their tufts - I call them "old man sideburns".
I would post pics, but can't figure out how.... Thanks for the info!

Awesome! Do you have any pictures of her all grown up?
Ours was the greatest of mysteries...had no idea what coloring she'd have since she looked like a dark little chipmunk as a chick - the orange feathering was a surprise, but a very welcome one!

I will take some this weekend for you. They free range all day, so will get them when she comes in close in the evening for treats and bed. She is one only a handful with a name here, Phynix.
