That's not an easter egger. I have had easter eggers before and she looks nothing like one. I have to disagree with that. (sorry)

They usually start laying at 6 months of age. depending on the hen. It could be sooner or later.

I think it's a Black Sex Link. I've seen sex linked hens with that much gold on them before.
