EE or Easter Egg Hen Chickens = Eggs

I just recently found out that I have an EE or Easter Egg Hen. She does not appear to be laying very often. Most of my flock are Sex Links...Great little producers. How often do EE's lay eggs?

EEs lay eggs when they feel like it. I think they're the only breed that chooses when to lay.

Since they are a mixed breed, it can vary. Mine lay about 5 a week. I have two pullets that lay almost every day.

How old is your EE? They tend to start laying later than other breeds.

Mine is one of my top layers, and she was my best layer through winter.

My 2 EE girls were 39 and 40 weeks old when they stated to lay.USUALLY, I get two eggs for two days then one egg for two days, then it starts all over..
