EE Projects?

I think I've seen them, but did people just started hatching them like that out of nowhere or did people with extensive breeding achived the silkied feathering?

I did have one of my EE girls cross with a Showgirl. Yikes! It has black skin, 5 toes, a small crest, a naked neck and frizzled feathers.

It could be a defect or mutation of the gene who knows. I hatched eggs i bought and keep all the chicks when they reached breeding age I started to get some with the silkied feathers, so I thought that would be cool to work on. The silkie gene has popped up in a few breeds luck I guess.
