Sorry no pics yet (Santa pleeze bring me a digital camera for Christmas). But just was wondering....my ee is 13 weeks old now, if a cockeral, would he being crowing by now? Would his tail feathers be more plumby?

I've had ee cockerels crow as early as 6wks and as late as 20+ weeks... so you just can't tell. You may be able to see the start of a sickle shaped tail feather or pointed hackle & saddle feathers - if so it's a cockerel.

EEs are generally very easy to sex. By 13 weeks, if male, he would have pronounced red comb and wattles, and pointed hackles and saddles.

If you had a pic, I'd know what it was...

Good luck with the whole Christmas camera thing....
