EE pullet or rooster

I'm outranked by subhanalah. I bow to her opinion. But why not give it a couple of weeks, it will be easier to tell then.

Your bird is most likely a pullet. That color pattern is girly all the way.

The bird is a little young to sex, so if you see any solid red feathers peeking out on the shoulders, that will mean it's a male. But right now, all signs point to that being a pullet.

There do seem to be some solid feathers around the neck area, but we're going to wait until egg or crowing on this one. We have a buff orpington who we are 95% certain is a rooster and will probably call the rooster guy earlier on. We bought sexed chicks, so if 2/4 turn out to be roosters, I'll be a bit annoyed! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Feather is a pullet.

Hi!! What does your EE look like now? Male or female? I am wondering the same thing for mine.

She is definitely a she! She lays lovely bluish green eggs.

Oh! And here is a more recent photo.
