Hey everyone, i asked already on these chicks, but i have more info now.
Are these roos or pullets? Theyre about 8 weeks old. The lady who bought them said she paid extra for them, as she wanted pullets only. Do you think theyre pullets? I didnt question where she got them, since they were a gift to my daughter, and it wont really matter which sex they are.. but theyre so sweet and love attention! Im hoping they were sexed right and theyre hens!!

That comb is quite large and red for an 8 week old...I think its a rooster...I may be wrong though, as this one is quite interesting...

Interesting.. ill label my pics and share more. Now im curious how do you tell? and what kind of pics do you want me to do?
You can tell by the comb size and color...many people one here have owned EEs before and therefore know what hens and roosters look like. I know I personally own 9 of them...the roosters comb developed much faster and turned red and plump. The hen’s combs don’t turn that large and red until 6 months or so...

Oh and I forgot to add that the roosters tend to get sharp hackle and saddle feathers at 8-12 weeks...
