This is Cheeky, my EE Roo. He came from a blue egg, but I can't figure out what his mix might be. Anyone have any theories, please? He throws his muff and beard to his offspring, but also has green legs and even flesh-colored legs on some of his offspring. I am totally baffled, lol.

Thanks, Wyandottes7, I don't know why I never thought of that. The family had BR pullets that hatched from the same batch of eggs they had gotten. They were told his egg was Ameraucana, but I knew that wasn't right, lol.

We have a rooster that looks exactly the same (except he has a pea comb)! He's an Ameraucana/Rhode Island Red. I'm guessing it could have been an Orpington, Rhode Island Red, or Plymouth Rock crossed with EE. Here's our rooster:

That is awesome, BantamFan4Life!! They look like they could be brothers, lol. The pea comb does pop up in his kids once in a while, too. Beautiful Roo! How's his temperament?

He looks like a blend of silver laced W
yandotte and Columbian Wyandotte....but I can't see the feather detail., He's beautiful regardless!
