But that isn't the most logical option.. If you would be breeding your birds, pick the Sussex. However, if you don't breed, then go with the rooster that has the best personality and who gets along better with your girls. Good luck, I don't envy you

Personally, after my first roo (EE) passed away, all I wanted was another EE, and got one. They are so sweet and gorgeous, and the two that I have had are very friendly.

We have never had a good experience with a SS rooster - every one we have had has been horrifically aggressive. Mixed personalities with the EE roosters, but currently, our EE roosters are marvelous! I really do like the looks of your guy there. congrats on a beautiful rooster!
