EE Roo x BCM Hen, olive egger?

will it work either way or do i need a bcm roo to an ee hen to try and get olive eggs,, I have an EE roo and Bcm hens

Should work! I had some light-olive eggs from a BO-X-Ameraucana. Pretty eggs, pretty hen.

Just make sure your EE boy at least carries the blue gene. I know that is a pretty obvious statement but you'd be surprised how many EE's don't carry the blue gene.

Olive Eggers work with any blue/green layer crossed with a dark layer, which can be any color of Marans, or a Penedesenca, or even a Welsummer - But the best come from the darkest layers.
