EE rooster?

I am a newbie. He/she is an 8 weeks old EE that has always towered over the other chicks in terms of size and likes to show who is boss. I could swear I heard crowing this morning at 5:00 am! Is my pullet a cockerel?

very pretty Roo... hes going to be beautiful as an adult.. don't forget to take pics.. every so often till hes grown so you can show his maturing... kind of before and after pics..

He is so pretty and tame with humans as well unfortunately roosters are illegal in my town and we have really close neighbors. Any way to muffle a rooster? Ugh...
