Will EE Roosters cause the hens lay green eggs?

My hens are laying nice brown eggs. I have four EE Roo's that mature and ready to mate.

Nope, but if you hatch the offspring from that mating, then THOSE girls might very well lay green eggs

You can't change the color eggs that your hens produce...it's genetic. However, the offspring from them with an EE rooster could lay green eggs if they inherit that gene from your EE.

Thanks

I think its time to cull some roosters

My bossy rooster has some blood on his head this morning. I had two that were hatched with the other 7 hens. The bossy one would protect the flock when they were free ranging and the other one respected his place as second.

From another hatch I ended up with four EE roosters. I think those four are causing a ruckuss with the bossy one.
