Hi,

So we were able to tell right away who out of our brown Leghorns at this age are girls and boys, but the EEs I'm clueless;)! I had read somewhere that EEs can sometimes be color sexed (boys get the dark reddish colors)...these chicks are still really young and in the group of chicks I have not acting rooish and combs aren't unusually big, but any thoughts????? THANKS!

Here's "fluffy":

Another fluffy with some red specks on wings coming in:

One More of fluffy:

THIS IS THE 2nd EE - "Lola" - her/his head is still a lot more baby fluff than any of her same aged flock mates.

Lola - no red specks on wings

But she does have some red specks coming in on her chest:

they look like pullets so far wait another 2-3 weeks and repost pics please

Thanks, giving them to my brother (first time chicken owner) along with some definite brown leghorn girls...hoping to avoid giving them a cockerel or two. :)

I agree they look like pullets. I have cockerels and they don't look like yours.
