The brown one is a pullet; that is a classic pullet color pattern and the feathering and comb are pullety. However, I'm leaning more towards the black/white one being a cockerel. I am not 100% sure about that, though--EEs can be very tricky to sex.I'm newish to chickens and recently picked these two little beauties up a couple weeks ago, was told they were pullets but cannot for the life of me figure it out. I'm starting to suspect that they are both cockerels but thought I would seek a second opinion. The woman I bough them from, said if they turned out to be roo's she would exchange them for hens. Oh and she said they were 10 weeks old, but I have my doubts (as now it would make them about 12). They seem a bit small to me for 12 weeks old.

The brown one is almost definitely a pullet. But, I'm leaning towards cockerel on the black and white on. Not only is it a common male Easter Egger color pattern, but the comb is rather large and red.I'm newish to chickens and recently picked these two little beauties up a couple weeks ago, was told they were pullets but cannot for the life of me figure it out.
