EE Sussex cross... Is Skipper a Roo?

Today I noticed a few slightly curly tailfeathers on this birdy. Roo? I'm not so great at telling with the EEs. Matter of fact I went out a few weeks ago and specifically bought a cockerel when our big old Sussex died because I thought all my chicks were pullets.

So what makes it all come together where you're so sure?

Well a better side standing shot in natural light would help to be 100%, but the red around the neck, the big comb, what appears to be the start of saddle and hackle feathers all lead me to think rooster. Knowing age would help too.

I think that's a rooster. He has a very large red comb and rooster tail feathers.
