I have 4 EE chickids who are 9 weeks old. One has just a few super-stumpy "feathers" on her legs. They look to be just the shaft, with no actual feathering. Any idea what this is, what it might mean, should I be concerned...?

Thank you for your help. I love these girls so much! 🥰

Some Easter Eggers will have lightly feathered legs. Others won't. It's not completely abnormal, or of concern.

As MysteryChicken said, some easter eggers will just have feathered legs. If her feathers looks something like below, like incomplete feathers that pop up sparsely over the leg, they’re probably feather stubs. Something that occasionally pops up in lines of clean-legged birds. Nothing to be concerned about.

Thank you! Stubs are definitely a good definition of what they appear to be, though not like the ones in your picture. Babs has some that are about 1/4" long.
