I just hatched some from my White Silkie roo with my EE hen. Both chicks have the same parents, yet are different colors.

I know for a fact that they are the same parents because 1. Both hatched from green eggs 2. Both have 5 toes on their feet, feathered legs, and dark skin. I only have one Silkie roo and one EE hen.

You have one partridge and one grey. What color is the dad?

Okay, she carries gold, so the grey must come from the white father, and could be either gender. If male it will be split for silver/gold (Ss).

I also weighed the chicks today and the Silver chick is the heaviest. About 2.7 ounces.
