Eeeeee!!! Look what I found!!

Went out into my coop this morning, and look what I found! 2 eggs were in one nest and 1 was in another. My very first eggs!! I am so proud of my ladies! And I can't believe I got 3!! The last time I was this excited was when my kids were born. HAHAHA

I am definately a 'crazy chicken lady' now.

Congrats! I know how you feel--- mine have been laying for about 3 weeks--- yesterday I got a dozen eggs from 24 pullets--- it is egg-citing!!!!

How fun!

Our girls are about 16 weeks (Aug 9th), so it's still a bit early to expect anything.....but we're still hoping:/

Nest boxes going in this weekend.

It's funny that we got them all (4 of them) at 3 days old,yet 2 are showing bright red combs and wattles, while the other 2 are not.......???

They are Barred Rocks.

Any clues?
