EEEEK! What do I do?

Our REALLY SMALL po has NOBODY there until almost 8, when they open. The mail delivery truck comes and just drops off the mail, and is there for LITERALLY 5 minutes. The PO staff arrives at 745 for 0800 opening. I KNOW this because I used to shovel their sidewalk when I was a teenager! Larger POs may have people there early, though.

I'm confused. How can they go ahead and ship them anyway on a Sunday or a Monday when the Post Office is closed?

If you chicks are shipping out early today... there is a good chance they might be at the Distribution Center that funnels mail to your local post office this evening.
I ended up picking mine up last year at the DC so the chicks wouldn't have to sit there an extra day (and I did the same thing this year too).

yeah, I have no way to contact them about it either way

not until the morning, anyways. Tracking isnt provided, so there is no way to track and see where it may be...

I asked my PO where the distribution center is for this area, and they said they were the mail DC for this area...


I wish I would have rescheduled my shipment! eeek!

On a good note, I have been given the ok to take the day off work when they get here, which is kind of awesome

That means I get a whole day to *hopefully* take pics of my beautiful little nuggets and make sure they are good and settled in and such...

Okay, I'm having problems understanding here.............if post offices are closed how are they shipping them??????????

they go out air post....they still ship items out and such, mail is still moving and such.
