eeeekkk! a mouse!

I saw a baby mouse today scamper across the chicken yard. I've read several posts where chickens love to eat mice. Do I just let the chickens do what they do or do I start trapping mice?

Sorry, I had to laugh. A couple of years ago I fostered a tiny chihuahua for our local rescue group. She came from a puppymill with the name EEKAMOUSE. Probably the strangest name I have ever heard for a chihuahua.

rrrsmom, I don't think I would like my chickens eating a mouse but I have read from someone here on the group that their chickens eat mice. Guess it wouldn't hurt them? I would get the traps out myself.

I found a clutch of pinkies (way baby mice) on the porch and tossed ‘em right into the run. I’m not a big fan of mice since they raided my pantry and ate all my pine nuts.
