EEEK! Chicken attacked by cat-- Vet bill scary too!

I dont know what responses this will get, mixed ones I am sure. But as I look over those pics more, I cant help but t believe that that bird is indeed a male. Because I have, in the past, raised Brahmas and a Dark Brahma hen is not that color, the male is. I dont know if my opinion is worth anything but I figured I would chime in and state my two cents.

I dont know, prolly not seeing as most vets dont do poultry,...
