Eeewww!!! What caused this egg?

    My girls have been laying since early summer and all have been well put together eggs. Just the occasional soft shell in the very beginning. So what happened to this egg! I bet it didn't feel good coming out.

    A glitch in the plumbing. Wow... that is pretty hideous, isn't it?

    WHOA! That's UGLY.

    I had one egg come out of a hen where the entire yolk/white/sack was OUTSIDE the shell but attached by a membrane into the shell... so weird. Chickens do weird things. Owwie.

    We were going to use it tonight... popped the top off, and as I was cracking the rest the shell seemed to fall apart from the membrane so I fed it to the dog cause I didn't want shell in what I was cooking.

    The top part was apart of the bottom and when we took it off it was like snot pulling them apart. Another Ewww with this egg. lol
