Mine have killed two rats! They started eating one of them.

They probably kill rats out of self-defense. Rats will eat chicks and even grown birds if they can catch them.

Chickens will also eat small snakes,skinks,lizards.They're makin' sure they gettin' their protein for the day

Being in Arizona, we have lots of scorpions. My girls think of scorpions as a delicacy. Once, last summer, we had a hen who was stung by one, but never had any other problem. They enjoy the occasional mouse from the barn, too.

When I get my Chickens in May, I hope I get some of them Attack Chickens too. LOL

In Hawaii we have these annoying but tiny Coqui frogs, who chirp all night long. They are such a pest that the government is spending lots of money to try to figure out how to eradicate them.

The rumor is that chickens eat them - they're just a little bigger than your thumbnail. This is the original reason we got some native chickens. But of course I fell in love with the chickens and couldn't care less if they're eating frogs or not
