Who: Snowey

Where she came from: farmer/breeder guy
When they started laying: July first
What color eggs they lay: Blue


Snowey is the only EE female I have. I do have 2 EE roos so it's possible that next year I could have more

(I haven't decided if I'm keeping one of the EE roos or the Barred Rock Roo.)

I have 3 EE's. This is Nugget at 2 weeks. Got her from a local Chicken lady in Georgia. I think she got them from another lady who hatches them for fun.


Above, Nugget at 12 weeks. She is now 14 weeks old so I have a while until she has eggs.

Here are two EE's that are about 1 week old in this picture. The top two on the left. Ester is the one on the far left. Milly is in the middle at the top. I got them from the local Feed Store. He got them from Cackles Hatchery.

Here they are now at 19 weeks. Ester on top and Milly on the bottom.



Ester has been red faced for a few weeks, so I am hoping for eggs soon. None yet.. Probably shouldn't have posted this until after they have eggs since I can't tell you when they started or what color the eggs are, but couldn't wait!!! Will post those later.
