EE's EGGs - who, where, when, what (let's track who laid what and who hatched from what)

So, I have finally gotten my act together for a few minutes to be able to FINALLY post all my EE girls' eggs!!!  ;)   And, I finally caught them on a day they all laid pretty close together!!!  (I did post my first EE layer earlier. But I am going to post all 4 now.)

(The fancy labeling is thanks to the computer talents of my wonderful husband!)

I find it interesting that the eggs from my clean-faced EE's (Brown Sugar and Goldie) are more matte in color and rougher feeling.  And, the eggs from my muff-faced EE's (Amelia and Muffie) are smooth and shiny.  You can even see in the picture the two middle ones have a gloss to them.

Great olive eggs! How fun!

Thank you Flowerbh! And to think I was not originally going to get any EE's for myself! I had split an order and my friend only wanted EE's. So I got 10. In the end, we wound up switching around so that I gave her 4 of mine and I got 4 of hers!!!

She has enjoyed the BO's and SLW's she got. We certainly LOVE our EE girls!!!

They certainly do add fun color to the basket!!!

I recently got a new EE. She is 6 weeks old now. She looks like she is going to be mostly black with gold veining and gold collar. For some reason I think she may be an olive egger. Her feathering looks like a Wyandotte. Maybe she was an EE/Wyandotte mix. She is growing in black muffs. EE's are so fun....you never know what to expect. I love them!

Jenikate, I have an EE girl that looks a LOT like your Taz! This is her. She lays a bright green egg though, strange how they can look so much alike but lay different colors!

Jewel (Aka Honker)
Even though my Taz is a bugger...she has mellowed and become quite friendly since she started laying :) I just love the "platinum" color on the back end of her :)
All 4 of my EE's are laying now, and I have two blue layers, one green and one creme .
Chippy (the green egg layer) has laid big eggs from the get go. The one she layed this morning was easily extra large, but I dont have a way to weigh them...all the others still lay teeny ones :)

After collecting todays eggs, I noticed one of my EE's eggs looked really big to me..at least compared to the others which are all laying small to med size. Weighed it just now and it is 2.7 oz, or 76.5 grams. A JUMBO! Not a record breaker by any means but proud of my girl!

Wow!! All of the eggs from Jewel and Jolly Roger are either 1.7 or 1.8 ounces, every time. Only my sex links lay jumbos that aren't double yoke, and only 2 of my 8 will go that big! Congrats!
I used a postal scale...about as accurate as I can get. Took a side by side picture of a "regular" egg that I get. Will post it later...I wonder if it is a double yolker? If so, It would be my first one!

Heres a pic of the 2.7 oz egg next to one that is I believe considered med size (1.8 oz). Measured at almost 3 inches long....Havent cracked it open yet to see whats inside:)..Either way, OUCH!
