Curious to some guesses...

Cutie is about 3 months old... (pooped right as I took the photo...LOL). Tail feathers are pretty much all black.

Daisy is probably about 3 months old, but she was a found chick, so can't be sure... She wouldn't hold still long enough for a good picture.

Both act the same...this is our first round of chickens, so couldn't tell you the difference between hen and rooster behavior.

Thanks!

The first one was supposed to be an Araucana, but I'm guessing they are both EE's.

2 votes for pullet...Yippee!!

I'm on the fence with the first one too. second one pullet for sure !

the first one, built like roo, face like pullet. But, it was at this age mine started to crow. so, keep an ear out. I had one that had no comb either, just the design of its mix. It was a roo.

good luck

I haven't heard any crowing yet. We have 6 chickens total, and they all sound alike right now. LOL

The first one... My EE pullet (forsure) has a tail that doesn't look like that.. I am gunna say cockerel for 1st one

2nd I think you can be confident she's a pullet

That 1st one though.. No clue but saying boy purely for tail feathers. I guess that shows EE's are VERY hard to sex!

Please DO update this thread when you find out! I am very curious!
