EE's Hens or Roos?

It's the color pattern, that's a very normal color pattern for an EE girl, and the roos don't have it.

The roos have a (I don't know how to describe it well) "contrasty" pattern, but it's very obvious once you see it.

Here's an EE roo that I had last year, at about 10 weeks old:

I had his picture labeled as "possible roo" when I took it last year! Yep, I think that was pretty possible. It was my first year...

Their color pattern does give them away as girls. Also their feathering, they're shaped like girls. Their combs look like girl combs, small and pink. If they were cockerels, they'd be bright red.
