EE'S or Black Austuralorps?

Or just get what i call a 2 in 1. Get a australorp mixed with ee. Then the body looks like an australorp and you can still enjoy colorful eggs. I have one and i enjoy her so much!

Get both! I have black australorps, but I wish I had EEs

I have both and love them all. I would also get a couple white leghorns. very good layers of white eggs. then you can white brown and blue eggs. Love to see the face of people I give eggs to when they see the blue,green eggs.

Personally I would go with both! I love the diversity of color in the egg basket at the end of the day.

I have three Australorps and two EE's, and personally, I like the Australorps better. They generally lay better, but the EE's have a chance at laying blue eggs, (since they are mixed, light brown is sometimes what you get,) and mine lay pretty well. However, the Australorps lay bigger eggs then the EE's, so it is more egg for your money. On the other hand, EE's can be so colorful. I have a orange EE and she is just stunning, and a white EE with Yellow/orange accents, and she is lovely too. The austalorps have that cool green shine, though. And I personally like their upright stance better. My overall opinion? Get some of both.
