efowl afoul?

I remember seeing a couple people post that had good luck with their Calls. I emailed them once and asked what state they ship from and they didn't respond to that question (although they were quick to respond and did answer my other questions). I can see why someone would order from them, especially since they offer some things other "hatcheries" don't. Anyway, I can understand some of the complaints, like using pictures without permission as something similar has happened to me. I think the quality (or lack) of the actual birds though probably has little to do with them, since they have their orders drop shipped (at least, AFAIK and have heard).

I'm glad to hear the other people's input and experience on here. I now think that they have not purposefully gave me extra males. As far as ordering straight run, I only did so on recommendation in Holderread's book! Come on, are't there folks on here that put a lot of stock in that book? I SHOULD have ordered them sexed, but I thought hey, Holderread knows a lot more about ducks than me, and if he recommends ordering straight run, well then!

Ohhhhhhhhhhh I forgot.. I said I'd never ordered straight run, But Snakeman reminded me that we DID order my Silver Appleyards from efowl as straight run. ( thats the only way they came) They are beautiful and I got lucky that I got 3 hens and 1 drake.
