not sure what the best board to post this is ...I was wondering if anyone has purchased chicks from eFowl (.com)? I did find the hatchery reviews but there were only 3 listed - any experiences with this hatchery? TY!!

I personally don't have any experience with them - I have used My Pet Chicken & Meyer and been happy with both. I have read some negative things about them on this forum so you might do a search to see some old posts. I was thinking about getting some ducks from them last year and one BYCer told me they were happy with their duck purchase.

thanks ...I'm now thinking to order from Ideal Poultry ...there are good reveiws on the forum for them ...most of their birds are on waitlist right now but that is fine ...I'll probably order sometime May-June - thanks for your input!

I got some ducklings from Ideal last year and they were very healthy. However, they also included 5 male chicks for "warmth" who were also very healthy and very cute. Thankfully, I was able to rehome the little boys later so all went well. I have an order with Ideal due the end of the month for 6 chicks and 2 ducklings - but this time I ask them to insure it and not include any males. Hopefully it all goes well.
