Egg abnormalities

I have a hen that has started laying eggs with a ring around the middle. Looks like Saturn! The middle has a build up raised ring! Not sure why. The eggs seem to be fine. I will include a picture but it’s a little bit hard to see. I figured it is because she is a older hen. But again just a guess. What I want to know is, I water glass eggs. Because this egg has a raised middle, is that OK to water glass or will it let the lime in through the rough abnormality? If there is a cure i would love to hear it!

If you are concerned, just eat those fresh. I would expect this to go away. There are a lot of irregular eggs, but if you have always bought eggs, those are perfect, leading to the expectation of perfect eggs. Where as commercial birds lay weird eggs too, they just use them in other ways.
