So we got this remote wireless weather station thing for Christmas. You put the remote sensor someplace outside and the display is inside. My husband put the sensor in a nesting box in the chicken coop to keep an eye on temps out there. Happens to be the one the girls picked as their favorite (out of a possible six) when they started laying a couple weeks ago. Sooo...when the temperature on the display spikes to about 63 degrees (because it's cold here and nowhere near that!) and then goes back down...we go out and get the egg!
