I know there's an egg art thread around here somewhere, but I can't find it so I'm starting a new one.

My first venture into this egg-citing new hobby is this year's Christmas ornaments! Eggs laid by my sapphire jewel, Lady Amalthea, featuring a painting of our Cookies and Cream Artemis done by @YamYam. I used a combination of decoupage, stamping, and hand painting.

These are my egg ornaments made by a family friend. Her egg art is what inspired me. I remember visiting her workshop (her entire basement!) as a child and the variety of eggs and bobs and bits and being fascinated.

I’ve never done Christmas ornaments, but I’ve done Christmas-themed pysanka (I think I spelled that wrong) and non-Christmas egg painting.
