Egg Baskets

Eggs4.jpg

My grandmother gave it to me, and I think she got it at a flea market or something. Sorry, I realize that isn't much help. When I leave the tea towel out, it does make it easier to wash any poopy ones though.

I have a wire egg basket and find it is only usfull if I have many eggs. Otherwise the eggs tip around and sometimes crack. I keep a stack of cartons in my feed bucket out at the coop. that way if my DD who's 5 is out collecting they are down there all ready to go. The eggs stay safe on their way back to the house this way.

I just grabbed a basket off the shelf in the laundry room. It is just one of those things that you get a gift in and hang onto. It is just the perfect size though.

This is what I use to store my eggies on the counter, I'm in the mist of collecting hatching eggs so my eating ones are few and far between this weekend! lol

My dear daughter-in-law got me that one year for my b-day and the prettiest chicken tea towels, I'll have to post a pic of those...

She found it at alittle primitive gift shop near here....

The chicken one is way cool.. like that.. and wouldn't you know it, a flea market..

MissPrissy, I noticed your egg cups in the back ground. I collect egg cups, those are cute and match your basket so well. I haven't seen a basket that holds eggs on top like that. Care to share where you got it?
