Egg Binding???

I have a barred Rock hen who has a very hard lump under the cloaca... I've felt around inside her a bit but can't feel an egg. What else might be wrong? what can I do?

is she panting at all? sometimes they look stressed and lethargic while panting. the longer it goes on the more the panting will increase.

you can give her a 20 minute sitz bath to help relax and cool her down because the egg could have broken inside her or is stuck sideways. my EE has this happen every once in awhile-twice so far but months apart and i know it will keep on happening with her now that i know her signs.

She doesn't seem to be panting, but her hind end is practically dragging on the ground and she has a hard time walking. I'd love to figure out what is so wrong so I can try and help her as she seems to have plenty of pluck and the will to live. if anyone has any ideas or thinks there might be some other problem please say something!!! i also felt for her crop but can't feel it... is it just empty:/???

could you take and post some pics? sometimes those may help identify things better. pics of how she is looking over all and pics of the area that has the bump would help.
