Egg bound advice

Hi,

I've got a hen who appears egg bound (can feel the egg right near the vent) gave her a warm bath yesterday evening, she's been on her own all night in a cage with straw and water. She's drunk a lot over night. This morning she is just laying there, do I try and re bath? Do something else? Any advice welcome! Thank you

Hi! You can re-bathe if you want. Just be careful handling her because if that egg breaks the shell will tear up her insides. Keep her in the dark so that she doesn't produce any more eggs!
