Egg bound? But acting normal?

I have a hen that hasn't layed in a few days. I feel at least one egg in her abdomen, possibly two. very swollen. She appears to be eating and drinking like normal and has been for at least 2 days. I've ventured so far as to put a finger up the vent about 3 inches and don't feel an egg. but from outside and gently squeezing the abdomen I can feel a definite egg shaped mass.

If you have any other hens, have you felt them too? If they have the same kind of "egg shaped mass," then it's just some normal part of the chicken's insides and you don't have to worry.

I generally figure that if a hen is acting normally (including eating and drinking), she is probably fine.
