A malignant tumor such as oviduct cancer would feel firm. There is also internal laying or salpingitis where there are hard egg masses inside the abdomen, when a chicken‘s eggs go the wrong way. Some eggs may be too high up to feel. If she is pooping, she probably is not egg bound. I would use the calcium for a week, but after that it probably is something else.
