Egg Bound? Help Needed.

I hate this feeling

I want to help her, but I am stuck. She is too small to lube up and check out in that way, and she won't eat.
She came from someone I thoroughly trust. They have 0 parasites. No lice, mites or anything like that. Worms are a possibility, but would she really go downhill that fast? I might have to call a vet and see what they say.
You might ask a vet. It wouldn't hurt. I wish I could help you but I've not had that much experience with things like this. I just feel like I know you since I see you on the other thread so often. I know the feeling of being helpless. The best I can do for you is send good vibes and prayers your way.

Just thought of this but I assume you have tried to bribe her with some scrambled eggs or yogurt or some favorite treat? When we had some chicks that didn't feel well we would put drops of water on their beak and it would kind of run in their mouth and they would drink it. It was time consuming but at least they got the water. Also, if she will eat the eggs or yogurt or even just the water drops add some polyvitasol (liquid childrens vitamens) to the treat/water. It certainly won't hurt if you can get her to take it.

The vitamins couldn't hurt. I will go pick some up. I have tried the yoghurt and eggs. Nada. Maybe raw egg yolk? She won't eat the cooked egg.

At this point I would try anything. Also if she has never had raw egg before, you might smear a little on her beak so some goes in as she might not know what it is and maybe once she tastes it it may spark her to eat.

i had to do the lube job on one of my pullets.what a mess.i thought she was egg bound.i used ky jelly.and i could feel a egg .than i worried i may have pushed it up to far in her.i caged her and kept her in the house overnite.the next morning i put her back in with her flock.and she seemed fine.i did fine a egg later on that evening lying in the run.and the next two days i found them in different places.(due to the lube job).of course i ask for help on byc and explain her systoms.she had a slimmy liquid dripping from her vent.she kept squating as though she had to pop.and she also was humped up.i was told it sounded like a yeast infection(vent gleet).i was told to treat her with yogurt.i would be totally lost without byc.i come here countless of times for help.hope your little girl gets better.

I gave her a bit of yolk. She seemed a little intrigued, which is more than I've got out of her today. She pecked the dropper slightly. Didn't seem interested long though. I got some into her. Also found a dropper for electrolytes. She pooped again, which is good. Still really hunched up and tired. Not moving much.

Thanks for all these suggestions.

Still the same tonight. Antibiotics in case of infection. Long weekend - absolutely no vets open in my area. Hope she hangs on until Tuesday. I have been forcing her to eat egg yolk and water with antibiotics. I also massaged her crop because I noticed full strands of grass in her poop. Maybe she has an impacted crop?

Still no blood in poop, and no other chickens acting sick. I am treating everyone for worms just in case. It's been a couple of months since their last treatment. Better safe then sorry. One of her 3 sisters laid her first egg yesterday. All of the other bantam Ameraucanas that share the brooder seem 100% fine.

She did bend over and throw up a bit. Other than that, nothing new to note. Thanks everyone for the thoughts and well wishes.
