You might ask a vet. It wouldn't hurt. I wish I could help you but I've not had that much experience with things like this. I just feel like I know you since I see you on the other thread so often. I know the feeling of being helpless. The best I can do for you is send good vibes and prayers your way.I hate this feelingI want to help her, but I am stuck. She is too small to lube up and check out in that way, and she won't eat.![]()
She came from someone I thoroughly trust. They have 0 parasites. No lice, mites or anything like that. Worms are a possibility, but would she really go downhill that fast? I might have to call a vet and see what they say.
The vitamins couldn't hurt. I will go pick some up. I have tried the yoghurt and eggs. Nada. Maybe raw egg yolk? She won't eat the cooked egg.Just thought of this but I assume you have tried to bribe her with some scrambled eggs or yogurt or some favorite treat? When we had some chicks that didn't feel well we would put drops of water on their beak and it would kind of run in their mouth and they would drink it. It was time consuming but at least they got the water. Also, if she will eat the eggs or yogurt or even just the water drops add some polyvitasol (liquid childrens vitamens) to the treat/water. It certainly won't hurt if you can get her to take it.
I gave her a bit of yolk. She seemed a little intrigued, which is more than I've got out of her today. She pecked the dropper slightly. Didn't seem interested long though. I got some into her. Also found a dropper for electrolytes. She pooped again, which is good. Still really hunched up and tired. Not moving much.At this point I would try anything. Also if she has never had raw egg before, you might smear a little on her beak so some goes in as she might not know what it is and maybe once she tastes it it may spark her to eat.
