Emergency young hen egg bound!

Get some calcium into her right away. Calcium citrate with D 3 300 mg up to 600 mg is best, but other calcium or Tums will help in the meantime. Those can help with muscle contraction. Offer fluids. Is her vent area bulging or swollen?

Ok it's not bulging as bad as it was I don't see and egg outside anywhere though! Just gave her calcium 600! Should I soak her in Epsom salt warm water?

Do not soak her if she is really weak or stressed, but plain warm water soak is okay if she is relaxed. Soaks can push a weak hen over the edge.

Ok she's acting ok right now eating grass with other chickens. I must of just caught it! I don't see an egg anywhere. I hope that calcium helps!

She's walking around acting normal to me. I saw an egg in the besting box I pray it's hers. I'm keeping a close eye on her. I'm so stressed over it.
